Amarnath

Amarnath, the beloved elder son of Sri Vanidas Elayavoor and Smt. Yashoda Vanidas, was born into a family blessed with the grace of words—a legacy he now shares through his writing. Known fondly as ‘Mani’ in his native village, he spent over thirty years abroad, carrying with him the soft ache of displacement and yearning.

After decades away, he returned home—rooting himself once more in the soil of memory. It was here that Fallen Flowers Whisper was born, an outpouring of reflection, longing, and poetic insight.

He is also the author of:

  • Manichitrathaalukal (Malayalam)

  • Rithubhedangalile Mridu Marmmarangal (The Gentle Whispers of Changing Seasons)

Amarnath lives with his life partner, Mrs. Shanthi Amarnath, and their three sons—Vyshakh, Vivek, and Vybhav—who remain his pride and joy.

Fallen Flowers Whisper

Fallen Flowers Whisper is not just a memoir—it’s an invitation to remember, to feel, and to reconnect with the forgotten corners of our lives.

Through stories steeped in emotion, the book explores:

  • The quiet beauty of ordinary moments

  • The unspoken grief of leaving and the grace of return

  • The symbolic power of a single flower to stir decades of memory

Set between the dusty trails of childhood and the corridors of exile, the book echoes with nostalgia, language, longing, and love. Each chapter unfolds like a petal—fragile, fragrant, and forever.

At its core, this is a story of home.
For anyone who’s ever left and looked back.
For those who carry yesterday in their today.
